Lambeau Field

{Wordless Wednesday} Lambeau Field In Legos – At our local hospital they have this replica of the Lambeau Field Stadium that our beloved Packers play at. This lego stadium is so very life like! I was so shocked to see the detail. The pictures just don’t do this justice at all. It has an incredible amount of detail. It is said to be on display at least through the football season. Here’s the interesting facts regarding this masterpiece:
15 Students from the Milwaukee School of Engineering started the project in Feb 2013 and finished Aug 2013.
It took nearly 5 days to build Lego Lambeau Field.
1,500+ hours were spent designing and building the project.
Replica is built on a 1″ to 6ft scale.
Replica measures 15’x13′ and is 27″ tall.
Over 130,000 pieces were used, equating to approximately 500 pounds of plastic.

It’s amazing what can be done with LEGOs! I’m in awe, as long as I’m not stepping on them!
