{Wordless Wednesday} It’s A Winter Wonderland! – This is the FIRST winter we’ve had Jordy and I have to admit, I was worried. He is only 7.8 pounds and I was concerned if he would be able to tolerate the snow. Since we are still house training him SOME I didn’t want the snow to cause any problems (he wouldn’t want to be wet, cold, etc thus not going outside). I couldn’t have been more wrong. He LOVES the snow. In fact, this dog has mastered emptying his bladder a squirt at a time! LOL He truly loves it. He goes outside (and he goes potty every time) about 6 times every 15 minutes. He truly wants to stay out, but since he is cold he comes back inside to warm up and then he wants to go back out. We got him some sweaters, so he can stay out a little longer. He does. I  am seriously contemplating buying him BOOTS! For real, he’s got a mad passion for the snow and if he was bundled up better he would stay outside longer! We just got a nice blanket of fluffy and sparkly snow (my favorite kind) and he is in heaven. Last time it snowed (the bottom photo in the collage) it was wet and heavy and it melted the next day. This snow is here to stay and it’s official.. it’s a winter wonderland! Jordy would have to concur!

Glad your little cutie likes the snow :) We had boots for our bichon-poo because salt on the sidewalks irritated his paws. Took him a bit to get used to them, but then he was fine.

We got him a couple more sweaters! I need to get him boots. I am afraid he won’t like them. He has his moments with his sweater. He will keep it on almost all day, but if he starts to get warm he will try and bite it off. I know the boots would go on and off, but I don’t know if he would even allow it. I guess I should head out and get him some to try though. Right now we had very dangerously cold wind chills and temperatures and I worry about him! I send him in and out in a very very short time!!

We kitties don’t really care for the snow, but Mommy wants to get us sweaters so we can stay on the catio when it is cold, and she won’t have to let us in and out over and over all day long. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

Awe!! Yes, It’s much safer in the house for kitties, but if you get some warm sweaters, you can lay, play and sleep in the catio and enjoy the sun!!

How cute! My dog loves the snow too, I just don’t want to take him out in it.

I am SO glad that Jordy doesn’t need us to take him out on a walking leash. We have a fenced in yard, so I use a yard leash and he can run around and play while I stand in the window and watch! As soon as he has had his fill, he comes running to the door and I let him in. Then we play and he runs around the house to warm up! Haha! Can you use a yard leash for your pup?

We have a little yorkie and he was definitely ready to come in from the snow and we had less than you did!

Awe!! Yes, Yorkies are little too!! Jordy LOVES the snow and it’s so hard because right now we are in DANGEROUS wind chill and temperatures and I hate having to put him outside. I have thought about getting him some puppy pads, but I don’t want to teach him to potty in the house when I’ve spent over 3 months teaching him NOT too. I just put a sweater on him and encourage him to go fast. Poor little guy wants to play in the snow though. It’s been hard because he literally goes out every 15 minutes. He comes in, warms up, then wants to go back out. It’s annoying lol but I don’t know which times he HAS to use the bathroom and which times he doesn’t and just wants to play.
