Origami Owl Custom Lockets
Origami Owl is a very unique company. The first time I seen the lockets, I fell in love. From the story behind the business, to the personal feelings, to the customizations and more.. It just struck me. I was in love! Origami Owl started out with a girl and a dream. A girl that wanted a car for her 16th birthday. Her parents told her to work for it and as a result she created jewelry and what is today.. Origami Owl. Now Origami Owl has more then 60,000 independent designers.
A few weeks ago I set out to design my own living locket. There are so many choices. I was ordering from what I could see online, but many people have in home parties (Jewelry Bars) and can make and create a locket they love. Creating my living locket was a chore for me! There are SO many amazing options. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to do a cute theme that represented one part of my life, or different things that represented the important pieces of my life. Then after choosing the pieces that I would enclose in my locket, I had to decide what type of chain, length of chain and if I wanted any dangles or tags to be added. Every single locket will be different and every locket has a different story to be told. As a blogger and a mother, I often share my story.. always with words. Origami Owl shares it story too.. with jewelry.
Perhaps your story starts with a foundation such as your faith. That was the case for me. Since it’s an important part of my story, I decided to add it as a dangle, which is larger, then the cross charm that could go inside the locket. I then added things inside that were all very dear to me and helped tell my story.
My living locket is special to me and tells my story. These lockets are GREAT for all ages. A locket for a teen, a mom, a grandmother, aunt, neighbor or friend.. they are wonderful conversation pieces. They are also very personal and I’ve never seen anyone wear their locket without pride.
