Every woman is beautiful regardless of size, shape, or skin tone. My love and passion for cosmetics has grown tremendously in the last few years. I’ve always loved cosmetics, but after my accident I found my self esteem lower and my feeling that I was beautiful was heavily guarded by injuries that I viewed as flaws. We all have our flaws. Even if you’ve never had an accident or injury, our body’s all have flaws or things we’d love to change. Thankfully the world of cosmetics has made things much better for women. My stash of cosmetics keeps growing; along with my love of cosmetics. I was recently introduced to Be A Bombshell when I received a product by them. I immediately fell in love and knew that I needed more of their cosmetics.
My very first product was the Be A Bombshell Submissive Eye Base
. I’ve always used a primer to keep my eye shadow from creasing and keep it in place, but this eye base was like nothing I had used before. Submissive is an intense creamy bronze color with a gold shimmer. Since it did have a gold shimmer to it that tends to come through your shadow. They offer many other eye bases
to chose from. There are great colors and pigments to chose from.
Recently I added new products to my collection and I must say, just as the eye base, they did not disappoint. The Be A Bombshell Eye Shadow in Sandstorm and Southern Sass are two very nice and versatile colors. Sandstorm is a light brownish tan color that is the perfect go to color. It can be worn alone for a simple everyday look or you can layer it with other colors. I spritzed my brush with some water and applied this wet for a deeper and more shimmery color that paired beautifully with Southern Sass. Southern Sass is a warm mauve color with a slight shimmer. It’s beautiful. Again to intensify the color i spritzed my brush with some water before applying. I was already using the Submissive Eye Base so that helped pull the pigments to a nice rich and beautiful color. The eye shadows with the eye base gave me a look that lasted well over 8 hours! I was thrilled since my looks are usually more complicated then 1 color that I can touch up during the day. I layer and blend and of course that takes time, product and brushes; more then I want to carry with me while doing errands.
I used a basic and simple foundation routine with a setting powder to have a nice base to lay the products in. I went with a simple casual look because I want you to see the versatility in these products. I just used mascara, no false lashes. I topped the eye look off with the Black Jack Eye Crayon. I absolutely love these eye crayons. I apply them with a tiny lip liner brush to give me more control, but since they are soft they transfer very easily to the brush. I used this in my lower water line as well as under my lower water line in the outer corner. I blended Southern Sass right into the black under my water line and it was a very cute look. Using a smudge brush I smudged them together so it didn’t look like two separate lines and colors just randomly sitting there. These pencils are great for eye liners, water lines, under the water line and so much more! They are soft so they are very easy to work with! To finish off this look I used Be A Bombshell Bronzer in Raspberry Tart in my cheeks and Be A Bombshell Lip Gloss in Rendezvous. The bronzer/blush is beautiful. You can add a small amount for a light and subtle look or you can add more for a bold evening look. I love that it’s so universal. The lip gloss was a color that was darker for me. I don’t usually step out of my comfort zone of light pinks/mauves and nudes, but I have to admit, this color was beautiful on. I got a lot of compliments on this look and the lip gloss. Be A Bombshell has so many more amazing products.. Be sure to check them out. And here’s a word for the creator of the cosmetics we love:
Be A Bombshell Cosmetics was started in 2011 by a makeup fanatic, named Tonya Thompson. Her first love has always been cosmetics; with a passion for lip gloss since she was about 3 years old! Working in the industry, she could not find the products or colors that she wanted and when she did find them, they were expensive. She also has extremely sensitive skin, which means she can’t use a majority of products. This was always extremely frustrating for her, so she finally decided to do something about it. She realized that she could use the same manufacturers that produce high end cosmetics with the same quality and pass fabulous products on to us at a lower cost! She also personally tests every product for months before they ever consider selling it. She believes if she can use it, anyone should be able to use it.
